The Green Finance and Technology Innovation Panel

On April 13th, 2024, Harvard University hosted the U.S.-Asia Sustainable Development Summit, drawing global policymakers, scholars, and industry leaders to address pressing climate change challenges and advance sustainable development. Under the theme “Crossing Boundaries: Uniting for a Sustainable Future,” the summit focused on enhancing international cooperation, breaking down national and industrial barriers, and accelerating progress toward global sustainability goals.

Among the distinguished participants was Wei Wang, CEO of Robostreet, who shered his point at The Green Finance and Technology Innovation Panel. Wang highlighted the crucial role of heavy-duty trucks in emission reduction, noting that although these vehicles represent only 5% of total traffic in the United States, they contribute a staggering 33% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. He further shared his vision for the future of smart trucks, emphasizing that beyond sustainability, artificial intelligence (AI) will be pivotal in developing the next generation of trucks. This includes innovations in robotics and the integration of safe, efficient, and precise autonomous driving and operation systems.

Wang’s insights underscored Robostreet’s commitment to leading the industry toward a more sustainable and technologically advanced future, aligning with the summit’s overarching goal of uniting global efforts for a greener planet.
